The energy and power industry is undergoing rapid change due to many economic, demographic, financial, political, regulatory, and other factors. DIAMOND CASTLE LEADERSHIP
 Mike Ranger and James Moore serve as Diamond Castle's Operating Partners in the energy and power sector. Mr. Ranger has more than 25 years of experience in the utility and power industry as a private equity investor and investment banker, most recently as Co-Chairman of DLJ Global Energy Partners and prior to that as Head of DLJ's Global Power investment banking group. Mr. Moore has more than 25 years of operating experience at energy companies in sectors that include alternative energy and independent power producers. He was most recently the CEO of Catamount Energy Corporation, a former Diamond Castle portfolio company.

AREAS OF FOCUS
Diamond Castle is particularly focused on several segments within the energy and power sector, including electricity generation, equipment manufacturing and outsourced services for the electric power and oil and gas industries, and transportation and logistics services associated with the delivery of energy-related products.
DIAMOND CASTLE INVESTMENTS
Catamount Energy Corporation Acquisition of the unregulated wind power generation subsidiary of Central Vermont Public Service, Vermont's largest electric utility. We intend to grow the company's large backlog of wind power projects in the U.S. and UK and expand through acquisitions of additional projects or companies. Diamond Castle exited its investment in Catamount in 2008.
KDC Solar, LLC Growth equity investment in a solar energy development company.  We intend to focus on the development, ownership and management of 1–10 megawatt solar energy projects for commercial and industrial real estate owners in the New Jersey market to take advantage of a favorable solar energy regulatory framework in the state.

American Ref-Fuel Company $1.6 billion leveraged buyout of one of the largest waste-to-energy companies in the United States.
